1、 According to Article 11.0.12 of the Technical Specification for Fire Water Supply and Hydrant Systems GB50974-2014, "The fire water pump control cabinet should be equipped with a manual mechanical pump start function, and should ensure that personnel with management authority can start the fire water pump in emergency situations when the control circuit inside the control cabinet fails. When manually operated, the fire water pump should work normally within 5 minutes of the alarm

This article is a mandatory provision (in bold). Pressure start, remote start, and hard wire start are all achieved through relays to automatically start the pump. If the relay and weak current signal fail and the fire pump cannot be started automatically, the "emergency start device for fire machinery" set in the fire pump control cabinet should be relied on to directly start the fire pump. When the weak current signal and hard wire start relay fail and the secondary circuit and electrical faults in the fire pump control cabinet cannot make the fire pump start automatically or manually, in case of a fire emergency, this article stipulates that as long as the control circuit in the fire pump control cabinet is damaged under normal power supply, the pump can be forcibly started directly to ensure timely firefighting. 1. The fire and sprinkler pump control cabinets have been installed, and an independent fire machinery emergency start control cabinet can be added in front of the fire pump and sprinkler pump control cabinets. The power supply is led from the dual power cabinet, and the output of the "SGK fire machinery emergency start device" is connected to the output terminal inside the original control cabinet to achieve direct emergency start of the fire pump.

2. When the control cabinets of the fire pump and sprinkler pump adopt the star delta starting mode, two sets of "SGK fire machinery emergency starting devices" are used to start pump 1 # and pump 2 # respectively. In case of a fire alarm, either pump 1 # or pump 2 # can be started; When starting, press the handle 90 °. After starting, wait for the actual situation of the fire and have someone with management authority manually stop the pump (automatic pump stop or manual pump stop in case of fire alarm is not allowed).

3. When the control cabinets of the fire pump and sprinkler pump are in the depressurization starting mode, a set of "SGK fire machinery emergency starting devices" will start the 1 # and 2 # pumps respectively. In case of a fire alarm, either pump 1 # or 2 # can be started. When starting, pressing the handle 90 ° to the left will start the 1 # pump, and pressing it 90 ° to the right will start the 2 # pump, both of which are forced starts. After starting, the pump must be manually stopped by a person with management authority based on the actual situation of the fire (automatic pump stop or manual pump stop in case of a fire alarm is not allowed).

4. If both the user and the owner purchase our company's fire pump and sprinkler pump control cabinet, that is, the integrated fire and sprinkler pump control cabinet (with "SGK fire machinery emergency start device") has the same function as above, in order to meet the requirements of the new regulations and standards, our company's products will ensure passing the fire inspection.
